Perhaps now we can find our way around without being led by ghosts...
The guidebook comes with a handy map of the labyrinth but still no illustration of Merlin's mechanical swing. The imaginitive drawings of varous garden features are useful - the watermill is presumably also the mechanical cascade. The moated castle with its ivory tower is top right, and must have been very much smaller than the Sham Castle at Prior Park, visible from the upper reaches of the gardens. Bottom left is probably the entrance to the Grotto and bottom right, the Hermit's Cot.
