Reflector
Historical objects tell stories about the times in which they were made and the people who came into contact with them, but typically such objects are kept behind glass in museums or in difficult to access archives and those stories can be difficult to uncover. Can these objects be made more tangible and accessible to the public and can they encourage reflection and reaction?
This collaboration between University of Bristol archaeologists Mark Horton and Alex Bentley, and Design Week top 100 agency, Uniform, will explore how connected devices might open up new ways to contemplate and share the stories embodied in a collection of rare archaeological objects associated with the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
