Nest Protect

Protect is a connected, smoke and carbon monoxide detector.
It is a system that 'thinks before it speaks'. It doesn't just go off when smoke or CO is detected, it will give you what Nest calls, a Heads Up.
What we really like:
It's very well thought out. It's probably the best example of a mass-produced internet-connected product.

The focus is on the object and not the app.
