Skål

by Touch (2007)
Skål is a playful media-interface designed specifically for the home. It allows you to interact with digital media using existing or new physical objects.

What we really like:
The way in which you can interact with digital media content through tactile, physical objects.
Some other thoughts:
This project is from 2007, and since then RFID technology has been widely used to tag objects, to tell stories, engage with content, open doors... If this form of interaction with the physical and content is an idea for Objects Sandbox, it will have to be carefully developed to not copy pre-existing projects exploring a similar interaction. Also look at the 'I am Seeing Things' project on the Inspirations page.
