Sweet Tweet

Sweet Tweet is a Physical App (IoT) that connects to their studio Twitter followers, alerting them everytime they get a new follower.

Uniform have been exploring the idea of Physical Apps – objects that connect to the internet to perform dedicated tasks. This allows users to access information or services without using a standard interface like a mouse, keyboard or touchscreen and Sweet Tweet is a representation of that idea.

What we really like:

Playful, beautifully executed, nicely filmed and fun.

Some other thoughts:

This is one of the best examples of a social-media powered object.  It was created in early 2012 and we've seen many more since then.
