Tony Tempa

by BleepBleeps (2012)

Tony Tempa is an ear thermometer. It instantly displays the temperature and then also sends that reading to the BleepBleeps app on your phone for tracking and guidance.

What we really like:
It's open-source, the files for the shell will be openly available, meaning you could 3D print your very own thermometer, the electronic hardware is also available.

Is this a taste of what the future of products could be? We're unsure, but it's an interesting area of exploration. We also like the simplicity of this product and how it's presented.

And some other thoughts:
Importantly (for Objects Sandbox) the object is the focus, not the app.
